Art project “Convergence” in San-Francisco

Dear friends,

 I am pleased to invite you to a presentation of my art project “Convergence” that will be held in The Artists Alley Gallery in San-Francisco, USA from February 20th till Aprill 20th.

I see modern city as constantly evolving installation not only as a set of architectural and cultural heritage, but as a living entity in time and space. “Convergence” is my vision on modern European city from inside. Very important part of an urban landscape is emotional perception of the architecture that is especially emphasized in the paintings.

Some pictures from the “Convergence” series were already exhibited in several German cities, but the complete project is shown for the first time.

The exhibition quadriART in the Berlin gallery EAGL

I invite you on the 4th February in the exhibition EAGL quadriART. 

100 works of 60 artists find so together in the EAGL gallery. Germany, France, Italy, Spain, USA, El Salvador, UK, Russia,.........artist from different countries will display their square sized artworks at the EAGL gallery.

Charity event EveryChild

December 7, 2010 at the residence of British Ambassador Mr Leigh Turner was held a charity event to support social programs of the organization EveryChild, which helps families to keep and raise children on their own, not giving them to orphanages.

Painting exhibition in Warsaw

On December 15, 2010 was opened an exhibition of painting by Katerina Omelchuk in «Pracownia» gallery in Warsaw. The exhibition includes authoring paintings of the artist. 

International Charity Fair in Kiev

On December 4, 2010 in the Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine took place Christmas Charity Fair. Organizers of the fair — the members of the International Women’s Club of Kiev. Funds collected at the Fair will go to charity. I presented a few of my modern art paintings, one of which was purchased. Glad that I could make a contribution to the development of charity in Ukraine.

Personal exhibition «The passage of time»

You are welcome to come on 29 October at 18.00 to the opening of a personal painting exhibition «The passage of time». Pictures on the exhibition, written at various times from 2002 to 2010. In the main hall of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine in Kiev will be hosted the exhibition «Ukraine from Tripoli to the Present». Among the participants there are artists from many regions of Ukraine. On the exhibition will be shown original painting of Katerina Omelchuk «The passage of time».

2009 — Polish Salon «Poznaj Zmiany», International trade center in Poznan. The exhibition presents paintings from the series of Christmas colors: «Wedding Bells. Spring» and «Wedding Bells. Autumn».

The fifth competition for young artists «Landmarks»

On 5th November 2009 at 18.30 in the Small Hall Manege were summarized of the Vth «Landmarks» contest. At Showcase Competition Katerina Omelchuk qualified to the final V of the international competition of young artists «Landmarks». 

High Castle - 2009

On November 10th will be the opening of the 13th International Art Salon Autumn Lviv «High Castle — 2009». Opening will be held at 18.00 in central Lviv Palace of Arts. The exhibition will present painting «Waiting» and will continue till November 29th. 

Participation in annual exhibition «Day of the artist»

Presentation of the new project «DNA»

Katerina Omelchuk awarded scholarship of Kiev's mayor

On June 30, Katerina Omelchuk was awarded a scholarship of Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky for personal creative contribution to the development of the city and high achievement in public life. Giving ceremony was held at City Hall in Kiev.

Exhibition «RA» Gallery

Gallery «RA», with the support of the Kiev Office for Family and Youth Affairs, held a forum of creative youth of the city of Kiev. Katerina Omelchuk got first place in the category «Paintings, drawings, sculpture». The exhibition will present the creative works of Katherine «DNA» and «Hot Summer».

Personal exhibition «Parallels»

On October 2 at 17:00 in Kharkov Gallery «Maestro» will be held an opening of the personal exhibition «Parallels», which will be exhibited works of Katerina’s authorship. The exhibition will be open until October 14.

Interview in the magazine «Domomaniya»

In the June issue of the «Domomaniya» magazine will be published an interview with Katerina Omelchuk. In the article «To the beauty in all things, you need to make harmony in everyday life» Katerina Omelchuk discusses authoring works and modern trends in the fine arts.

Artists Union of Ukraine

Plenum of the National All-Ukrainian Union of Artists of Ukraine in April 2008 accepted Katerina Omelchuk into the Union of Ukrainian artists.

Fish Day VIII

In Kiev gallery «Irena» from February 28 to March 14 will take place the exhibition «Fish Day — VIII». The exhibition shows traditional painting, drawing, sculpture and new permanent gallery of authors, among whom is Katerina Omelchuk. Visitors can see the author’s work «Meeting».
